We have proof that Satan is alive and well. But has he dropped out of your stream of consciousness? If so, that’s one of the tactics he counts on. I’m here to not let that happen. Let’s take a look at what he’s up to in your kids’ schools.
After-school clubs are not new. They began in the early 1900s and have continued to help kids grow in math, science, and history. There are also some not related specifically to subjects the students are studying in school. These help them to be inquisitive and broaden their minds. However . . .
Not all after-school clubs are created equal. That is, not all are a good idea for your kids to sign up for. I’m speaking especially now about After School Satan Clubs. Yes, you read that right. They pass out flyers at school inviting kids to participate. They undoubtedly expect some backlash about the appropriateness of such a club, so they provide a paragraph on the flyer justifying their right to do this. It reads:
The United States Constitution requires schools to respect the right of all external organizations to distribute flyers to students at school if the school permits any such organization to distribute flyers. Accordingly, the school cannot discriminate among groups wishing to distribute flyers at school and does not endorse the content of any flyer distributed at school. The school encourages parents to assist their children in making choices appropriate for them. This is not an activity of the school or the School District.
I strongly urge you to go to The Satanic Temple website and read their explanations of the reason they sponsor these clubs, and where they plan to have them. The flyers they hand out to your kids offer “Science Projects! Puzzles & Games! Arts and Craft Projects! Nature Activities!” What kid wouldn’t think that sounds like fun? On the next line the flyer addresses the parents who will be giving a thumbs-up for their child to attend. It says, “Parents, your child will learn…Benevolence & empathy, Critical thinking, Problem solving, Creative expression, Personal sovereignty.” Can “personal sovereignty” mean God is not sovereign? Or that you, their parents, do not have charge over them?
I wrote about this invasion of the schools by Satanism in my book Who’s Got Dibs on Your Kids?. You can find it on pages 152 and 204. The Satanic Temple is still using the same techniques to teach your children to mistrust the Lord and turn to Satan. They claim “Proselytization is not our goal, and we’re not interested in converting children to Satanism.”
An article published January 27, 2022, carried the headline, “‘After School Satan Club’: Lebanon schools ask public not to protest first meeting Thursday.” This was in Lebanon, Ohio.
An online msn.com article carried information that parents should vigorously oppose. It says, “Like any other club at Donovan Elementary, children must have signed permission slips to attend any meetings. Fliers won’t go home with students, but they will be displayed at the school.” (Emphasis mine.) How many parents do you think will know about this if their kids don’t take the flyers home? What kind of permission slip will they sign if they don’t use the one on the flyer? Will it mention that it is a Satanic club?
Another article carried information about the same thing happening in Moline, Illinois. The Yahoo!news, dated January 14, 2022, led with the headline, “USA TODAY Fact check: ‘After School Satan Club’ meeting at Illinois elementary school.” The article says,
June Everett, a minister with the Satanic Temple and campaign manager for After School Satan Club, says their club is an “alternative” to that [the Good News Club] . . . Everett says the Satanic Temple does not “actively look” for schools to go to. She says they only go to schools where parents or other people in the community have asked them to go. She would not specify if it was a parent who asked them to start at Donovan Elementary.
Does it surprise you that someone representing the Satanic Temple would lie? Their website is quite emphatic that they go to schools with Good News after-school clubs and only those with Good News after-school clubs.
The Satanic Temple is getting even bolder about its opposition to Christianity. This year it is going to hold its first national conference in Scottsdale, AZ. Again, the headline is, “The Satanic Temple to hold first-ever ‘SatanCon’ in February in Scottsdale.” And the subhead reveals, “‘Hundreds of Satanists will now be descending on Scottsdale for an entire weekend,’ the temple posted on Instagram.”
I’m certain I don’t need to tell you about the concern you should have regarding this battle with Satan that is becoming more open and ubiquitous. Check if it is starting in your schools. This is a threat that is deserving of greater pushback than CRT. This is NOT an innocent after-school club. Don’t be deceived by the Great Deceiver!
Surely he recognizes deceivers; and when he sees evil, does he not take note?
