“They think they own our kids,” said a Michigan mom of four. Who is the “they” she was talking about? School boards and the government. (All italicized words in the statements following have been emphasized by me.) In her own words, she said, “I think that the Michigan Democratic Party, teachers unions, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer, they think they own our kids.”
Matt Walsh said it when he was a guest on Fox News Prime Time:
We also have to keep in mind, why do they consider us domestic terrorists? Well, the answer is: why do they consider this a threat at all? It’s because … The school system, the federal government, Big Tech – they think that they own our kids, that our kids belong to them, and how dare we try to have any say over what our kids are taught [and] what kind of values are instilled in them. That’s what this is really about. It’s about who owns your kids. And they think that they do. And how dare you step in the way.
Rachel Campos-Duffy, leading a discussion, said about a series of laws, they:
. . . reportedly would allow children as young as 13 to decide to undergo the gender-reassignment process without parents’ consent. “If this isn’t about who owns your child or not, I don’t know what is,”
The Detroit News online has an article about the views of the Michigan Democratic Party regarding the role of parents in deciding what is taught in public schools. They have a copy of a Facebook post that has since been taken down, but here is a copy of it.
This is precisely what my book Who’s Got Dibs on Your Kids? is all about. If you haven’t read it yet, I urge you to get a copy now. Whether you buy my book or not, you must immediately begin to understand that there are people and groups that want to take control of our children. I call them the Pied Pipers. They want to lead them away from you, your beliefs, your faith, and, if they can, away from God. Parents, grandparents, and all who love the kids God gives us must join in the battle. They are serious. So must we be.
This might be a good time to check your state’s Parents’ Bill of Rights with that of Indiana. When you check Indiana’s, please scroll down to the Table of Contents and click on some of the content questions to see how they address the issues you are concerned about. If your state doesn’t have a Parents’ Bill of Rights, why not? This may be where you want to start your efforts to protect your kids’ minds from being taken from you.

Discipline your children, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to their death.
(Proverbs 19:18)
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
