I just saw some football news that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be playing against the Patriots for the first time since Tom Brady made the switch. But Tom Brady will not be the quarterback. He said the ones who used to be his fans might boo him.
THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! I made that up.
What Tom Brady really said was, “We have to meet the challenge.”
It reminded me of how our kids and we have to face adversity. Do we raise our voices about evolution, the 1619 Project, and CRT? Do we hesitate to tell others about Jesus and God’s love and plans for us because we might be “booed?” Might we look at all the people in the stands (our lives) and think they might turn their backs on us because we are on the team of believers, and they aren’t? How often do we “meet the challenge?”
Can we, like Tom Brady, meet the challenge? Or not show up because we’re afraid?
