Twitter conspired with the government to direct thought about the 2020 presidential election? Some thought it couldn’t be true. Some thought they knew it all along. Some thought, if it happened then, how often has it happened, and how many of our considerations may have been manipulated?
In case you missed it, the Twitter question about the 2020 election came up last week when Elon Musk brought to light emails between the FBI, Department of Justice, the White House, and Twitter regarding a now-notorius laptop owned by Hunter Biden. Twitter was given instructions by various government entities to put a full stop to anything regarding that laptop. People were banned for trying to let others know about it.
But it wasn’t just the government and Twitter. Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, recently was taped saying that before the election the FBI had warned him in generalities that something “big” was about to drop, it would be Russian disinformation, and Facebook should shut it down.
If you’ve been reading my blogs fairly regularly, you aren’t one of those who is surprised. I encourage you to go back and read my blog titled SEARCH ENGINE MANIPULATION EFFECT. That link will take you to the first of the series of articles relating to how “Google can turn an election without ‘vote fraud.’” Part 2 and Part 3 advance the subject for you.
But this isn’t about complaining about an unfair election. That is in the past, and it can’t be redone. It’s much more important than that, and we must learn from it. Take a look at my blog titled ORWELL’S 1984: DEPARTMENT OF DISINFORMATION. If you read it back in May, you could very well have been dismissive. You could have written me off as a kook and never read another of my posts. (Although you are here now, aren’t you?)
How are the government, teachers’ unions, and wealthy backers like George Soros changing the minds of your kids? If the FBI, CIA, DHS, and DNI of our own government can employ social media to manipulate an election (they had weekly meetings with Twitter people) don’t you think they can find authors who will write textbooks promoting their views about climate change, the founding of our country, and evolution? And isn’t it just possible they will find publishers willing to put it in textbooks? Won’t there be school districts that will willingly or unwittingly purchase those books?
How are your kids not going to be indoctrinated with false teachings? The schools most likely spend more time teaching your kids than you do. It is up to you to be aware of what is being taught, and then counsel your kids about the errors and the truth. Sad to say, many teachers were brought up with the “woke” ideology and don’t realize that what they believe and teach is wrong. Good parenting is hard work, but I know you’re up to it. Being aware is the first step in keeping your kids focused on truth. I ask you to read, or re-read, chapter 9 of my book Who’s Got Dibs on Your Kids?. It begins on page 186. At the end of that chapter, I recommend you also read The Marketing of Evil by David Kupelian and Don’t Let the Kids Drink the Kool-Aid by Marybeth Hicks. If you don’t want to buy them, check your local library to see if they are available there.
Get your kids’ attention about the misinformation they may be learning with Psalm 36, verse 3:
The words from his mouth are deception and deceit. He has given up being wise and doing good.
Psalm 36:3
